19 laps and 5th last female out of >50 female starters. A sudden fainting ended my race early. But overall I had lots of fun and it was a great race experience. The orga and atmosphere of the O-See Backyard Ultra is simply exceptional!

Istria 100K by UTMB was one of the most beautiful race experiences to date. Stunning and varied course, empty trails, a perfect race orga and the friendliness of the Croatian people made for an unforgettable experience.

Returning to the race where it all began — my Schwerin Seen Trail 61K race report, five years on, and the art of running back to let go.

A brutal Berlin winter, a rebellious gut, and a left hip that had other plans. My race report from Sparta City Ultra 24h — and why I came home extremely happy anyway.

101 km and 6.050m of elevation gain. Technical trails, steep climbs and harsh weather made for an exciting race. The ultimate adventure for a lifelong flatlander 😅

A butterfly loop, sultriness broken by rain showers and gut issues made for an interesting day. I fell short of my goals but managed to place 17th female and 3rd in my age group (W40-45).

Fast, Flat and Windy. That is the North Sea Ultra 111km. Despite severe gut issues from start to finish I managed to finish 6th female and 1st in my age group (W40).

The first race of the season was a training race. I had a fun day on beautiful single trails, up and down an observation tower, met some old friends and made new ones. A great confidence-builder for the race season ahead.

15th place finish in my first international race. It's been the hardest but also most rewarding races I have done so far. A great finish to the race season 2024.

5th place finish in my second mountainous trail ultra. After being sidelined with injury (due to the hard fall during the race "Sachsentrail" in June) and catching Covid, I did much better than expected. I viewed this race as training race and didn't take it particularly easy during race week. I also spent the day prior walking around the city of Suhl and the nearby mountains. Considering these facts, I am more than happy with a 5th place finish (out of 36 women) and 35th overall (out of 125).

6th place finish in my first mountainous trail ultra. I did much better than I expected and the beauty of the trails and the fun I had on the technical downhills sparked a desire for more such trail adventures. However, I took a very hard fall just before the finish line. Unfortunately this led to lasting pains in my hip and leg, which ultimately meant I had to cancel my start at the "Race Across Scotland" 6 weeks later.

My second race in 2024. I finished 2nd place in my age group. It was a tough race in hard conditions accompanied by a headache and stomach cramps.

My first race in 2024. Planned as a training run at the end of two high mileage weeks. A tired body and mind ran a steady pace until the 50 kilometers were completed.

My very first 24-hour race on a motocross track. I placed 1st women and 6th overall (out of 50 starters) by collecting 128 km and 3.840 m of elevation gain.

My first race in 2023. After falling sick for 2 weeks in March, I found it hard to get into a running groove again. I signed up for the race 2 weeks before it was scheduled and wanted to use it as a training run. However, I didn't plan properly for the heat in July and had to pay the price... .

My first 100-mile race. I finished in 22:07 h and placed 15th women (out of 105) and 75th overall (out of 550)

My first backyard ultra 😀.

100km hike through the city of Berlin and surrounding forests. 2 weeks after my first 24 hour ultramarathon.

11th female overall and 2nd in my age group. My first 24 hour ultramarathon.

1st female and 3rd overall in my first 50k road race.

3rd female in my first ultramarathon race.
