Welcome to my kitchen Here you will find my favorite recipes. Most of them are easy to prepare and nutrient-dense. I like to focus on foods that don’t irritate my IBS – prone gut but are still yummy. I don’t do well with grains, so you will not find any pasta dishes here .
I have experimented with all sorts of different diets – vegan, low-carb, keto, paleo – and I kept what I loved and discarded the rest.
I love to bake and experiment with different flavors and ingredients.
Have fun experimenting with these recipes and adding your own twist to them. I give suggestions for variations of the recipes in the respective posts.
Simple Sugar-Free Chocolate Ice Cream
I don't have an ice cream maker, so I mixed some basic keto ingredients and put the mixture in the freezer. The result is a chocolate ice cream that is creamy and sweet and an excellent basis for further recipe experimentation.
This cake tastes like summer. It is ridiculously easy to make and tastes heavenly. Simply throw together a few ingredients, pour them into a baking pan, and let your oven do the rest. This cake is perfect for taking with you on a long run or hike. Its moist texture and refreshing citrus aroma refresh your body and mind on a hot summer day.
If you are looking for sweet-tasting keto bread - look no further. This egg loaf is the perfect comfort food and requires just a few basic ingredients. The original recipe calls for eggs, butter, and cream cheese, but why not spice it up with coconut flour, flavors, or your favorite add-ins?
These are my favorite cookies. I have always loved my grandma's coconut macaroons. Nowadays, I make a low-carb version of them, and they taste just as amazing. Crunchy on the outside and chewy on the inside, they make the perfect travel food.
This crispbread is designed to help you shovel guacamole or oven-baked brie into your mouth 😋. It is easy to make, and you can mix and match ingredients to your liking. Why not try Italian herbs, make it curry-flavored, or add some grated cheese to the mix?
